From trying out CrossFit for the first time to falling in love with it, from improving my skills to competing in local competitions, and eventually becoming a coach—I’ve come a long way, with still more to go. I’ve always been passionate about sports. Growing up, they were a huge part of my life and ultimately led me to discover CrossFit, where I found a new kind of challenge.
To me, CrossFit is like a day in life itself. Every workout tests my resilience, and every struggle is an opportunity to overcome. That’s what makes it beautiful. In life, we tend to stick to what we’re comfortable with and avoid what we feel we can’t do. But CrossFit challenged that mindset. It taught me to work toward everything, to face any challenge, and to believe that with effort, I can get better.
When I started working on my skills, I had already spent countless hours training, working on my Olympic lifts, and on gymnastics skills. Through that process, I gained so much knowledge that I began helping my friends improve. Eventually, I realized I wanted to give back to the community, to help others get fit, reach their goals, and experience the transformation CrossFit had brought to my life.
